Mining executive with more than 20 years across corporate and operational roles for Tier 1 miners worldwide, from the pit and the decline to the C-suite and the boardroom.
Tony led Directional Studies and Innovation at Newcrest Mining, and held operational and technical roles with Rio Tinto, Fortescue, Barrick and KCGM. He served as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Mining3, and advises LKAB on its Mining Advisory Board. He is passionate about safety, production and lifting the performance of the whole industry, and founded MasterMined to do exactly that.
And he walks the talk: still on site, underground and in the pit, with the crews who run the operation.
